A tribute to Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3.
I used the Thanatos model and paired it up with a drawing made by my good friend Alan Wansom who used to be a deviant here but decided to pull out all his works. Thanatos was rendered in Toon Shader and turned 2D for this piece, Alan did the colors. Had a tough time conceptualizing how this piece would come out, but the envisioned final output was Arisato (that's the name we used in the game) looking serious and menacing while Thanatos is behind him. We figured Arisato sitting with his legs crossed would do the job right, as you can see, the chair is similar to the one in The Velvet Room, the moon from The Dark Hour is visible from the back and Thanatos is a bit ghost-like.
